My solo performance piece I Was Barbie will be remounted for the Performance Studies International conference. It will be showing as a double bill with a performance from Canadian performance artists 2boys.tv
The international conference will happen this year in Toronto in June.
Dr. Judith Rudakoff is the offical curator of I Was Barbie for PSi. She will present and contextualize the work for conference attendees.

the aurora borealis from Whitehorse, Yukon
The upcoming production of The Silicone Diaries has being invited to be apart of The Pivot Festival at the Nakai Theatre in Whitehorse, Yukon. The festival runs January 26-31, 2010.
I don’t know too many details yet but I’m thrilled to bring my show up there. I will also probably being doing talkbacks after the show as well as attend a roundtable discussion with the other artists (6-8) who are attending the festival.

Her transformation from an awkward man who once resembled Crispin Glover into a 36D-26-40 bombshell involved Playboy bunny fantasies, black market injections and a crying Game-style collision with rocker Tommy Lee.
