(Past hosts of Drama Queen have included Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Lepore and Lena Love.) The day before the party I did a video shoot with the Drama Queen crew. This video was projected on massive screens in the club during the party. David J. Romero also took stills during the video shoot, and we turned them into this series of shots.

I was obsessed with the David Lynch films Inland Empire and Mullholland Drive when we shot this. I was definately trying to channel the feeling of some of those female characters in this shoot …also, a bit of Helmut Newton and Bettina Rheims… Thanks to an awesome team for realizing the mise en scene and production elements so fully.
